A safe and secure way to participate in the conversations of Government policy, laws & regulations

#YOUR VOICE MATTERS

Your Voice Matters, never forget!”

About Us

Bonga Na Gava is a SUSO participation tool that facilitates youth and communities to formally present their views to the government on proposed government policies and regulations on biodiversity protection and climate change &  the issues that are critical today and fundamental for our future.

The constitution of Kenya requires the government to consult with citizens before adopting new policies, laws and regulations and to take citizen comments into account.

Bonga Na Gava aims to help youth and communities to participate effectively by sharing analysis, on any particular draft policy, proposed law or regulatory reform to  youth and communities across the country to spur and inform their thinking and help them quickly write and submit comments to the relevant government agency.

Through this tool, we aim to amplify the voice of the youth and communities in government decision-making as if we do not take an active role in shaping the future we want right from decision making stages, chances are that our dreams may not have a tomorrow.

Our future needs nature.  Nature needs a livable climate and climate cannot be protected without the forests,  savannas and oceans.

We want a biodiversity legacy for our nation & not a catastrophe, and a livable climate for our future, but we are heading for a catastrophe.  Therefore as youth we are playing an active role to secure a nature positive 2030 and work towards a 2050 where everyone benefits from biodiversity, and we are living in harmony with nature.
